Years of Experience: 10 plus years
Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study
Role Description:
• Install new releases of IMS and IMS related software;
• Manage and administer IMS DBCTL environments;
• Create and execute the processes to create new DBCTL systems;
• Maintain IMS applications providing backups, recoveries, and disaster recovery;
• Monitor space utilization for all IMS databases, Logs, etc;
• Monitor IMS database fragmentation and perform reorgs when required;
• Design and redesign IMS databases;
• Work with all areas of OIT to facilitate successful completion of established goals;
• Daily core-hour on-site presence and on-call availability during off hours.
