This is a development team working on the Global Equity Sales Credit project within an Investment Bank. The candidate’s primary focus will include the development of sales related applications using C#/ VB.NET; database development; Crystal Report development; technical design and review. Candidates will be exposed to an application framework using a breadth of technologies including .NET, SQL and other cutting edge technologies and tools. The role requires a well-rounded individual with excellent communication and technical skills. The candidate will work as part of a global development team located across New York City and Singapore.
Play a major role in the development of sales applications
Liaise with business analysts to shape and understand requirements for implementation.
Conduct application unit testing and assist with system, integration, stress and regression testing
Understand and adhere to SDLC methodology/specifications for application development
Functional Responsibilities:
Design and development of presentation, middle tier and data access layers.
Extensive experience in UI development and design
Provide support for developed components.
Ability to work with other development teams and ensure that development is aligned to meet deliverables.
Work with other IT groups to manage production code releases and troubleshoot production issues.
Involved in full development lifecycle development projects.
Test systems (e.g. unit, system, integration, stress, regression, migration).
Contribute to the technical code documentation.
Good understanding of software engineering principles and object oriented methodologies.
Good understanding of architecture, performance tuning and application resiliency
Development of data reporting requirements and business intelligence
Qualifications:
